Hi, I'm Alli Smith, the founder of Mountain Air.
I grew up on the East Coast, but a stretch in my twenties living in Colorado changed everything. That's where I fell head over heels for skiing, hiking, biking, and pretty much anything that gets you outside and a little bit muddy. The mountains gave me a kind of peace and joy I'd never felt anywhere else.
Now I'm back in New Jersey, raising my family and living real life. But I chase the mountains any chance I get, and when I can't be there, I still want to feel a little of that magic. So I started Mountain Air: clothing and accessories made to carry that day-on-the-mountain feeling wherever you are, whether that's the summit or the school pickup line.
Our goal is simple: comfy, playful clothes that make you smile and remind you that the good stuff is waiting outside.
